The enviro goal

Yesterday the 18th of 2019 we had these two ladies come over. Their names were kirsty and Cody before I start talking about them let me tell you what we did. We had an assembly under the Wahi Nui for them they came up with the Silver Reflection team we sang Te waka for them then they sat then we did as well then Cody spoke about giving us the silver metal but i’ll tell you a surprise at the end. Then we sung Ka waiata then we sat down but the boys did there Haka they were like a burning fire that’s how good they were then at the end they used their mouth and went blah. Then after a while everyone went back to their class miss m she played the walking back to class song we were the last class but we didn’t care . My teacher miss hickling told us to come to the mat she showed us these video’s on the room three learning hub there was make your own dream catcher that looked amazing  and make a bird feeder I made one for my seven birds at home  we made  recycled bottle plant holders the bottles were all gone after that Create paper roll animals they were so cute . then at 10:30 everyone went out for morning tea the last time cody came here she bought her dog her name is ocean like the roaring sea anyways back to  the story. At morning tea me EvaB Unaise Zara we were doing tik tok  dance’s then after a while the bell went so we went back inside when everybody was inside they carried on when the  teacher came back she said carry on anyways so we all carried on. We used our circle table to make the bird fedders it was a mess on the table it was full of bird seeds YUCK!. When I finished making my bird feeder I couldn’t think of anything else to do after that so I thought and thought until I had an Idea I told arabella my idea she said great idea Eva we did rockets she did one for her younger brother and I did one for my older brother. then baxter dropped some paint on the ground so we weren’t allowed to use paint anymore so after a couple more minutes we had to pack up for the end of the day we were like vacuum cleaners.  but this is the surprise instead of getting silver we got GREEN GOLD!!! Mrs naden cried so did Francesca and mrs wagner everyone was so happy. I hope you enjoyed my story about the enviro goal thank you.

power of words

Today we have been learning about the power of words we have made a goggle slides about it s= step away. t= tell a trusted adult. o= okay sites first. p= pause and think online. and that spells stop! so you should not go on sites that you have to put your birthday on it or your phone number or your personal things of you or your gender that is BAD!!!. you should never ever put things up about you and ignore those haters.

bee report

Bees are insects of the living world and they have two compound eyes a compound eyes and three small eyes up the top of their head. Bees also have 6 legs  and they look like a yellow black insect.  They have a thorax and by its thorax it has a stinger when the insect see’s danger coming it stings you and in a while it dies.

Location
The bee lives in a hive or it lives in the garden or in the woods. Some bees are born in the honeycomb some bees even go to country to country and some even live in india.

Do you know that  the worker bees who collect the honey vomits it out for the other bees to eat and then the bee that ate it vomits it out as well. A bee can fly and also make honey   by its mouth and it has a pollen basket and male bees are called drones they do not have a stinger also a bee collects pollen and well the insect is flying  all the pollen falls off the bee and goes onto the flower  and then that flower pollinate. Okay here is another  fact do you know by its antenna it has a proboscis and the proboscis are used for chewing food like honey or sucking up liquids .
